ExcuseWiz is a comedy-and-communication writing tool. You describe a situation — running late, declining an invitation, needing a mental health day — and the generator returns short scripts across four tones: funny, professional, dramatic, and wholesome. Each generation also includes an honest alternative — a plainspoken version that favours directness over cleverness.
Who it’s for
People who find difficult messages hard to start: anxious writers, second-language speakers drafting workplace notes, parents negotiating with teachers, friends trying to cancel plans without burning bridges. It’s a nudge, not a shortcut.
What it isn’t

How it works
The generator is powered by a large language model — Grok, via xAI. Common situations are cached so repeat queries are fast and affordable; new inputs generate fresh scripts on the fly. We store the text you enter so we can serve the same situation instantly to the next person who searches for it — and so we can keep improving the prompts that shape the output.
